Breaking out onto the music scene with a style that's completely their own, Sheffield born and bred quartet Inherit The Stars are an explosion of sound that should not be missed.
With all four members already being well-aquainted with the stage, their live shows ooze energy, creating an impressive gigging experience. Listing some of their major influences as bands such as Fightstar, Funeral For A Friend, Enter Shikari and Chiodos, Inherit The Stars are most recognisable for their powerful rock riffs, lulling string arrangements, adrenaline-filled synth lines and distinctive choruses.
The album is very much free-flowing which i find is essential to the 'Inherit The Stars" sound. With that said any one of these tracks can be grabbed, placed in a playlist and won't become obscure and unlistenable.
Once its grown on you and you know the tracts, you can tell there is an obvious diversity in their sound and style. An animosity is clearly shown with the many breakdowns which seem to be overpopulating the heavier music genres these days. This is what makes this band stand out from the rest
Metalzine M Rating Outta Five:
MMMM
